About Brett Lee
Brett Lee is one of the fastest bowlers of the modern era. Over a 13-year international career for Australia he took 310 Test wickets and 380 one-day wickets, played in three World Cups and was part of the side that won the 2003 title.
His connection with India runs deep. He played in the Indian Premier League for Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders, acted in the Indian film unINDIAN, and has been a regular on Indian broadcast and charity circuits for years. He is a long-standing ambassador for hearing-health causes through the Cochlear Foundation.
On stage Lee is easygoing and full of dressing-room stories, with a sharp understanding of what preparation and recovery demand of a fast bowler. He speaks on performing under sustained pressure, the discipline behind pace, the friendly rivalry between Australian and Indian cricket, and building a second career in broadcasting and cause work. Sales kickoffs, dealer meets and corporate hospitality events book him for an international name who clearly enjoys Indian audiences. He speaks in English.
