About Amish Tripathi
Amish Tripathi wrote the Shiva Trilogy, the three novels (The Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas and The Oath of the Vayuputras) that rank among the fastest-selling book series in Indian publishing. He followed it with the Ram Chandra Series, a retelling of the Ramayana told through several narrators, and has published non-fiction including Immortal India and Dharma. An IIM Calcutta graduate, he spent his early career in financial services before writing full-time. Between 2019 and 2023 he was director of the Nehru Centre in London, the cultural arm of the Indian High Commission.
